What Do You Enjoy Most About Being A Musician?

My favorite part about being a musician is having the ability to tell my story in an artistic way while connecting with people through a universal language. My taste in music has evolved over time — I never really thought I would write electronic music — but merging that sound with the pop I love so much, it really creates something unique and joyful. This chapter of my life has really been one to remember.

Which Track Of Yours Means The Most To You?

This is the hardest question EVER because they are all my babies and I love them equally… plus I have a few that I love that are yet to be released. I really love the title track to my album, which you will hear soon enough, but as far as the one’s that are released: “Stay Crazy” is my oldest child, “Execute the Vision” is my wild child, “Ticking Time Bomb” is my rebel child, and “Equality” is my peace-keeping child. Which child is YOUR favorite?

The First-Ever Gig You Played, Can You Remember It? How Was It?

I’ve actually never performed any of my original music live! I started writing my first song just a few months before the pandemic hit — so I’m waiting for things to settle down, but I definitely plan to perform sometime soon!

What Do You Think Is The Key To Success As A Musician?

Be true to yourself, speak from the heart, and be fearless. Tell your story unapologetically in the way that you want to tell it. Trust me — everyone will have an opinion, and not everyone will love it — so make the art you want to make and be proud of it.

If You Weren’t A Musician, What Job Would You Be Doing?

Lately, I’ve been thinking I could make a good lawyer or private detective. I pay attention to detail and I ask a lot of questions. Before I was a musician, I was — well, still am — an actor… so if I could book a role playing a private detective (since lawyers wear suits all the time and I can’t stand suits), then I think I could be happy. 🙂
