The lead singer of Cranberries Dolores O’Riordan has suddenly died aged 46 in London.

The Irish singer had been in London for a recording session and her publicilst sadly announced the news.



The cause of death has yet to be announced however the death has been described as ‘sudden’ by the publicist who also went on to say that “Family members are devastated to hear the breaking news and have requested privacy at this very difficult time.”



Musicians across the world have already started paying tribute with many posting on social media platforms.

The band are known for their well hit 1994 hit ‘Zombie’.
