It is with great sadness to report that Prodigy frontman Keith Flint has died at the age of 49 at his home in North End.

London born, Keith who had been part of the chart topping band since the early 90’s was found dead at his home on Monday morning. Since the release of the news, it has sent shock waves across the music world globally with the band who was getting ready to go on tour in the USA in May releasing the following statement on twitter.

Furthermore, on Monday morning, An Essex police spokesman confirmed that a 49-year-old man had died. “We were called to concerns for the welfare of a man at an address in Brook Hill, North End, just after 8.10am on Monday,” he said.

The frontman found global success in Prodigy and many know him for his spiked hair and overall explosive performances. He achieved lots throughout his career and consequently reached number one twice for singles ‘Firestarter’ and ‘Breathe’. The band almost made it into the Guinness world records in 1999 with the fastest selling dance album in the UK with ‘The Fat Of The Land’. The album sold a record 317,000 copies in its first week. Also on 20 April 1996 all of The Prodigy’s 10 hit singles were in the UK Top 100.

We are all going to miss Keith but he will never be forgotten.
