Spotify, the streaming site with up to 70 million users worldwide, could see an increase in this figure, as they have recently expanded the service into a multi-media platform.
The platform has branched out from its music only content and now includes audio content, visual elements, music news, podcasts and audio books. This additional feature which goes by the name of, Spotify Spotlight offers a range of different content, accessible all in one place and at any time.

The streaming site are set to partner with BuzzFeed News, Cheddar, Crooked Media, Lenny Letter, Gimlet Media, Genius, The Minefield Girl, Refinery29 and Uninterrupted, who will create content for the site.
Programming content will include a range of voices and view points, including subjects and information on news, pop culture, sports, politics and music.
