According to Ed Sheeran neighbours, he has altered his wildlife pond into a swimming pool.
Furthermore, pictures reveal what appear to be steps and a diving platform.
The recent footage has not gone down well with local residents who told Daily Mail:
“What was initially a wildlife pond has become a recreational swimming pond. One would not like to think that in a year’s time the small equipment sheds are upgraded to a shower block and changing facilities.’
The planning application went in for the pond in 2016. It was approved under the following rules, ‘no other uses’, specifically forbidding ‘recreational leisure such as swimming’.
Moreover, East Suffolk council last year gave further approval for the jetty and steps. This came after being told they were ‘to enable access to the pond in the event of maintenance and emergency’.
Although Ed may just be sticking to the rules of the planning committee, we have to admit it does look like a swimming pool. Also with the work being provided by ‘the UK’s leading swimming pond and natural swimming pool provider’ we think Ed could possibly have other intentions. However many online users are arguing that Ed has worked hard for his wealth therefore should be able to carry out plans to enable him and his friends to enjoy pool parties.
