Justin Bieber takes a step back from his more upbeat new releases with his latest single, ‘Lifetime‘, taken from his recent ‘Justice‘ album.

Lifetime‘ flows passion from the get-go, and Justin serenades the ears with his crooner style mesmerising instantly.

Spending time with Ed Sheeran has rubbed off on the ‘I Don’t Care‘ hitmaker, and he adopts a similar approach to the British singing maestro. Nevertheless, Bieber stays loyal to himself, with his signature melodies flourishing.

It starts with a gentle guitar rhythm that is rich in texture. Bieber then instantly rises to the top of the mix with an impressive vocal performance. Similar to his other love ballads, he gets his feelings off his chest, and he wears his heart firmly on his sleeve; his integrity pays off.

Heartfelt

Bieber speaks most likely about his wife, Hailey, whom he claims is a once in a lifetime. Also, as the track progresses, Justin gets even more sentimental, and he looks back at his life and reflects on those he has met on his journey.

For the most part, Musically, it is somewhat condensed, with the guitar and vocals driving the way forward. However, towards the latter, Justin welcomes a piano arrangement which adds even more poignancy to the release. Also, he layers up his vocals in the closing stages with a backing harmony, which mixes even more flavour.

Overall, ‘Lifetime‘ once again proves the versatility that Justin possesses. Moreover, he smashes upbeat hits just as well as he does the gentler gems. As a result, this one will most likely be echoing out for quite some time.
