Producer Calvin Harris has disclosed his unorthodox method of combating jetlag: consuming raw eggs mid-flight. Yes, you read that right!

During a candid chat on the Zoe Ball Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2, Harris spilled the beans about his peculiar in-flight ritual. Apparently, the Scottish DJ doesn’t just rely on the standard amenities provided by airlines; he packs his own stash of eggs in his hand-luggage. And not just one or two, but a whopping six eggs!

“I was on a British Airways flight only a couple of weeks ago, and the air hostess told me she’d never seen anybody crack eggs and pour them into their mouth in their seat before,” Harris recounted with a chuckle. “But that was me. That’s what I do.”

But wait, there’s more to this unconventional practice. Harris clarified that he doesn’t consume the entire egg – only the yolk. “I like to get rid of the white, so I just do the raw yolk,” he explained. “I find it gets rid of the jet lag.”

Now, you might be wondering about the logistics of carrying raw eggs through airport security. Harris himself expressed his surprise that his egg stash has never raised any red flags. “You just stick them in your bag. I’m surprised they get through security because for me, that’s liquid. But it’s never, ever been flagged,” he revealed.

Whether you find this approach bizarre or ingenious, one thing’s for sure – Calvin Harris has certainly cracked the code (pun intended) when it comes to beating jetlag!
