In a recent legal development, Kelly Clarkson has taken action against her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, and his family’s entertainment company, Starstruck Entertainment. The Grammy-winning singer filed a lawsuit seeking restitution for various financial matters dating back to 2007.

According to reports, Clarkson’s lawsuit, filed on Monday, alleges that Starstruck Entertainment, owned by Blackstock’s father, violated state labor regulations by functioning as unlicensed talent agents. The suit claims that the company engaged in activities such as booking business deals without proper authorization.

In the legal document, obtained by Rolling Stone, Clarkson demands the retrieval of “any and all commissions, fees, profits, advances, producing fees or other monies” owed to her. She further contends that all agreements with Starstruck should be rendered void due to their alleged wrongful acts.

The singer’s legal action underscores the complexity of her relationship with her former spouse and his family’s business. Clarkson’s lawsuit aims to rectify what she perceives as financial improprieties, signaling a legal battle that could unfold over the coming months.
