Olly Alexander is the only remaining member of Years And Years, with fellow members Mikey Goldsworthy and Emre Turkmen taking a step back from the pop group.
All members are still friends and are to remain closely connected, but it appears their paths are not in line currently, with Olly taking on the group as his own solo project.
A statement from the group said, “This upcoming new album has been an Olly endeavour and we’ve decided that Years & Years will continue as an Olly solo project.”
