In an interview with French publication Les Inrockuptibles, Blur frontman Damon Albarn hinted that it’s time for the iconic Britpop band to “wrap up” once again, following a brief and successful reunion.

The ‘Song 2’ hitmakers, consisting of Damon Albarn, Graham Coxon, Alex James, and Dave Rowntree, reunited to deliver their first album since 2015, titled ‘The Ballad Of Darren.’ Additionally, they are currently in the midst of concluding their latest series of concerts in South America.

Albarn expressed a mix of gratitude and fatigue as he stated, “It is time to wrap up this campaign. It’s too much for me. It was the right thing to do and an immense honor to play these songs again, spend time with these guys, make an album, blah-blah-blah.”

While acknowledging the beauty of their recent success, Albarn clarified, “I’m not saying I won’t do it again; it was a beautiful success, but I’m not dwelling on the past.”
