Adele has admitted to feeling “really, really nervous” when she learned that Lady Gaga was in the audience at one of her residency shows in Las Vegas. The British star, known for her powerhouse vocals and emotional performances, shared her candid thoughts with The Hollywood Reporter about the unexpected pressure she felt during the show.

Adele, who prefers not to know in advance if celebrities are in attendance, made an exception for Lady Gaga. Reflecting on the experience, she confessed, “There’s been one (celebrity) there that I s**t myself the whole show. Gaga. And I’ve spent a bit of time with her, but I rate her so hard. I was like, ‘The show’s terrible. It’s rubbish. I’m singing terribly. I’m not funny. My dress is rubbish this week.’ I was judging myself. And she’s not like that. But she made me really, really nervous.”

The Grammy-winning artist went on to explain that she typically remains blissfully unaware of the audience composition, stating, “I don’t get told who’s coming. I only knew Gaga was coming. She came in disguise. Well, not in disguise, she just wasn’t dressed up.”
