Connor Dean stopped by for a chat!
Colby: Hello, Connor. Thank you for speaking to us today. Let’s talk about your new podcast, ‘In Or Out With Connor Dean’. Can you tell our readers a little about the product and what to expect?
Connor: Thank you for the interview! My new podcast will be about tennis, pop culture, games, movies and more! Some of it will be my take on things and sometimes I will have guests on the show. It’s going to be a little glimpse into my life as well. It will be launching soon!
Colby: You have become a household name in the industry due to your role as Butch the Bully in the Cool Cat movies. Can you share one of your wildest fan moments?
Connor: I have definitely had a few crazy moments! It was always cool when fans would create memes of my character. My favorite meme was of me with the Infinity Gauntlet. One time in Boston our server recognized me from the movies and asked for my autograph. I think the craziest was when my brother’s college friends freaked out that his brother was Butch the Bully and he made me go to his school so they could take selfies with me.
Colby: You are the CEO of your own production company, which is incredible, was that a natural progression, or did you always intend to start your own company?
Connor: I think I always knew at some point I would have my own business since my family has always owned their own businesses. It’s kind of a family tradition which is why my brother and I started Penny Arcade Pictures. It’s actually a nod to the family businesses. My great grandfather’s last name was Penny and Arcade is where we used to hang out as kids in our family’s roller skating rinks.
Colby: You enjoy playing tennis in your spare time; what got you into tennis initially?
