Iconic girl group Girls Aloud are rumoured to grace the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury next year for the highly coveted Legends slot. The news comes hot on the heels of the band’s confirmation of a long-awaited U.K. and Ireland reunion tour.

According to sources close to the festival, Girls Aloud has been at the top of Glastonbury’s wish list ever since rumors of their reunion started circulating. The Sun newspaper reports that the group is poised to inject a dose of girl power into the final day of the iconic music festival, following last year’s all-male lineup.

“The festival needs some girl power after last year’s all-male line-up, and the girls fit the bill,” a source revealed.
