Kanye West is in hot water after being sued for copyright infringement for sampling Marshall Jefferson’s ‘Move Your Body’ on his Donda 2 release, ‘Flowers’, without the proper permission.
The complaint said: “Defendants know and have been informed that they do not possess a license to utilize the Composition in the Unauthorized Work, and yet continue to willfully infringe in blatant disregard of UIMP’s rights of ownership.”
There has been no comment from Kanye.
