You Me At Six are rocking through the summer with their new release, ‘Read My Mind‘. This new one is instantly enticing, leaving the mouth watering with glee, and it opens the way forward for the group while staying true to their prior hits.
With the guitar screaming through the speakers and a synth throbbing through the texture, the British band takes off as they want to carry on. Moreover. the drums thud with vigour, and they collide with frontman Josh Franceschi with intensity, as expected. Josh captivates from the time he untangles his cords and resumes his position at the forefront of rock.
Lyrically Captivating
The direction is captivating lyrically, with Josh speaking about attaining his top and now fearfully looking ahead. He moves into the field of mental health; talking about how he wants others to read his mind and act on the clues he gives them. It’s common, and many people will connect to his message about people overlooking warning flags that are right in front of their faces.
‘Read My Mind‘ is one of those songs that gets stuck in your head and won’t let go, and the band’s perseverance shines through as the song progresses. Their album, ‘Suckapunch,’ is also only one of the band’s many remarkable accomplishments; also, this is just one of the gems on the new record.
