Up and coming grunge pop band, Black Spring, have released their brand new single, ‘Act My Age’ and it’s sure to impress with hard-hitting riffs and punk rock attitude.

Black Spring are a Brighton based group, who draw influence from artists such as Foo Fighters, Pixies, Arctic Monkeys, Neck Deep and Nirvana, giving them all the right ingredients then for a killer modern rock sound. After studying together at Canterbury College, they decided to move to Brighton (a city known for producing great artists) and form a band.

Produced by Eds John at Park Studios, ‘Act My Age’ showcases some great songwriting and originality. The guitar riff is instantly gripping, which when combined with Sam Glen’s great vocal performance and the ‘in your face’ drums and bass, leads to a sound full of grit and attitude. It’s the sort of track that would be equally at home in a tiny bar and a huge stadium.

With this release Black Spring have cemented themselves as one to watch this summer and are sure to make their way into playlists left right and centre.
