Cardi B took to Instagram Live on Sunday night to confirm the speculations surrounding her relationship with Offset. The couple, who had been married for six years, has officially decided to part ways.
During the Live session, Cardi addressed her fans directly, shedding light on her decision to go public with the separation. “I’ve been single for a minute now,” she confessed. “But I have been afraid to – not afraid, I just don’t know how to tell the world. But I feel like today has been a sign.”
Opening up about her internal struggle with sharing this news, Cardi explained, “The last time I got on Live I kind of wanted to tell you guys, but I didn’t know how to tell you, so I changed my mind. But it has been like this for a minute now. I just took it as a sign.”
Despite the challenges of navigating a public breakup, Cardi expressed her desire for a fresh start in 2024. “So, I wanna start 2024 fresh, open. I don’t know, I’m curious for a new life, for a new beginning. Yeah, I’m excited.”
